unfortunatley there isn't much help for low lvl chars from other characters of the same level
 but everyone else is right the game mainly starts at level 20 and since your in prophecies, the southern shiverpeaks are the main place for elite skill capping.also don't feel down after failing something with henchmen most likely its not because of you its the dodgey AI  anywho, welcome to the game, make sure you get to Lion's arch in time for wintersday the holidays in Guild wars are the most memorable |

Welcome to the game. I am new too so if you want to hang out char Sir Lovele in-game but my full copy will arrive just the next week so I'm just on the trial so far
